Actually SpaceX wanted to shoot at the weekend, among other things, two test satellites for the planned satellite Internet Starlink into space. The start was postponed yet again and will take place on Wednesday.

With more time for additional controls at Vandenberg Air Force Base, SpaceX has postponed the weekend launch of a Falcon 9 rocket by several days. As the US space company announced, the Spanish earth observation satellite Paz will now be launched into space on Wednesday. If everything goes according to plan, the two test satellites Microsat2a and b will also be on board the Falcon 9. With them SpaceX wants to test the ambitious plan of its own satellite Internet.
The two Microsat2 should then communicate with a total of seven ground stations, and only for about a quarter of an hour per day, so as not to disturb the other radio traffic. The test should run for 20 months and provide the necessary data so that SpaceX can start the planned 12,000 satellites for its Starlink system from 2019 onwards. If the satellites can keep their orbits longer, SpaceX wants to run them longer. With the project SpaceX wants to set up a global Internet access, which should also reach so far underserved areas.
