Literature Nobel Prize goes to Kazuo Ishiguro

             The Swedish Academy awarded the literary Nobel Prize in 2017 to the British writer Kazuo Ishiguro, born in Japan. His most famous work appeared in Germany under the title "What was left of the day".


        The literary Nobel Prize goes this year to the British writer Kazuo Ishiguro. This was announced by the Swedish Academy on Thursday in Stockholm. In his novels, Ishiguro, who was born in Japan, "exposed the abyss under our illusory feeling of bondage with the world, with great emotional force," the panel justified the decision: if you mix Jane Austen with Franz Kafka and add something to Marcel Proust man Kazuo Ishiguro.
