The next generation of Celerons for cheap mini-PCs and notebooks comes as Celeron J4005, Celeron J4105 or Pentium J5005 and can control two 4K displays via HDMI 2.0.

For the upcoming "Atom Celerons" for cheap notebooks and 150 euro PC barebones, further details have come to light. So these Gemini-Lake-SoCs carry names like Celeron J4005, Celeron J4105 and Pentium J5005 and can not only drive one HDMI 2.0a jack directly, but two. Two of these HDMI jacks are supposed to have the NUC barebones NUC7CJYH and NUC7PJYH "June Canyon" expected at the beginning of 2018 – about the CES in Las Vegas.
They follow Arches Canyon alias NUC6CAYH with Celeron J3455 (Apollo Lake): In this barebone, a Level Shifter / Protocol Converter (LSPCon chip) adopts the implementation of DisplayPort 1.2 with HDCP 2.2 to HDMI 2.0a.

The mentioned "J" version of Gemini Lake should be specified like its predecessors with 10 watt TDP; presumably also again "N" -types with 6 Watt TDP for akkubetrieben (mobile) computer.
Quad-core i-NUCs
The site CNX-Software.com was an unofficial presentation, which contains the June-Canyon NUCs mentioned. It also includes NUC versions with 15-Watt U-processors with four cores, ie Core i3 / i5 / i7-8000. These "Bean Canyon" NUCs will be available later in the year 2018, as usual for each CPU version (i3 / i5 / i7) in two housing variants, ie as NUC8i3BEH, NUC8i3BEK, NUC8i5BEH, NUC8i5BEK, NUC8i7BEH and NUC8i7BEK.
These Bean Canyon NUCs all have an HDMI 2.0a jack and a Thunderbolt 3 jack, which also delivers DisplayPort 1.2 signals as well as USB 3.1 Gen 2.
Kaby or coffee?
It is possible that Intel's NUC team has become tangled up in its own code names: the Core i-8000U types are referred to as "CFL-U", ie as coffee-lake types. In the announcement of the 15-Watt quads put however however Intel on the designation Kaby Lake Refresh (KBL-R-U). These types are already available in notebooks and show good performance.
Perhaps however, CFL-U also points out that Intel mid-next year from Kaby Lake-R-U to Coffee Lake-U change. The Core i-8000 for the Bean Canyon NUCs should have at least 28 watts TDP. This signalizes more powerful GPU versions than with the 15-Watt U-Chips.
Gamer Minis
Also 2018 Intel wants to bring out also the successor of the expensive "Skull Canyon" -NUC for PC-players. In these NUCs called Hades Canyon and Hades Canyon VR are to add additional graphics chips; the supplier – AMD or Nvidia – unfortunately does not reveal the document. Again, the CPU names are confusing, because instead of "KBL-H" you would have expected CFL-H: The "H" types are 45-Watt processors for powerful gaming notebooks. In Hades Canyon, however, are not yet six-pinch, but quad-cores.
