Cloud Provider OVH Causes Downtime

             The cloud provider OVH currently has technical problems in its data centers, which is why various websites can not be reached. The technicians are working on a solution.


        The hosting service provider and cloud specialist OVH is currently struggling with data center issues and many websites are offline or offline. Even the German website of OVH itself was not accessible, it appeared in between only an error message: "Error: there is a problem". Heise online, whose image scaler normally runs in an OVH data center, was also temporarily affected.
On Twitter, OVH support confirms the network issues: "We're all on the problem. Sorry for the inconvenience." The technicians have restarted power generators, OVH boss Octave Klaba has published further technical details on Twitter.
OVH is a French company that is one of Europe's largest cloud providers. According to own data OVH is the world-wide third largest cloud provider. OVH also operates a data center in Germany, which is just under 100 kilometers from Frankfurt.
