BTC-ECHO at the Cryptotank Launch Party | BTC-ECHO

Monday, December 18th, 2017 | bitcoin updates

The editors of BTC-ECHO attended the inauguration party of Cryptotank on Saturday. The new workspace and crypto meeting point in the heart of the German capital is intended to emphasize and further advance the pioneering role of the Berlin location in the German and European blockchain scene. A look back at a fun evening. The celebration took place in a relaxed setting in the cryptotank rooms, which were redecorated for the event. The evening was hosted by host Miriam Neubauer, Managing Director of Catena Capital. As befits a housewarming party, the guests were provided with food and drink at the heart of the event. At the heart of the evening is the cozy get-together and exchange of opinions and ideas around Blockchain, Cryptocurrency and Innovation First, there was an official part, in which the hostess presented the project Cryptotank and the companies behind it. These are Catena Capital, Germany's largest venture builder for co-financing and advisory support for blockchain projects and especially ICOs, as well as the Berlin blockchain start-up Herdius, which is planning an ICO in a timely manner. (More information about Herdius can be found here.) Miko Matsumara has also joined Skype as a special guest, who among other things said a few words about the current development on the crypto market and provided a personal assessment of the future development. Miko has 25 years of experience in Silicon Valley and is considered one of the leading figures in the first wave of the Internet. Now he is dedicated to blockchain technology and is part of Pantera Capital, a company that makes blockchain investments. Regarding investing in cryptocurrencies, he noted that it would be negligent not to have cryptocurrencies in the current situation and to miss the big upheaval that is going on right now. However, he also considers it equally unwise to invest his entire monetary holdings in cryptocurrencies, as certain residual risks in the market development can never be ruled out. Following the live circuit with Miko, the assembled guests turned back to each other and so could develop lively and communicative exchange between some Berlin blockchain and crypto sizes. In this way, the original goal of Catena Capital and the Cryptotank could be met – to bring together the Berlin Blockchain scene and to promote each other's innovations.BTC-ECHOAbout Tobias SchmidtTobias has been working as an editor in the BTC-ECHO team since August 2017.
